UK For Sale By Owner website hablib.com is running two competitions to promote its service.
The first competition focuses on hablib.com’s social networking capabilities. The member who has the most contacts on the website by 30 April 2010 will be picked up by Anton Kreil, hablib.com’s managing director, and taken for a track day racing supercars.
“The competition is to display how fun and fulfilling life can be if we all pull together to trade homes amongst ourselves instead of paying agents fees,” Kreil explains.
In a recent interview with propertyportalwatch.com, Kreil said he sees social networking as central to hablib.com’s success:
“The fastest growing demographic of Facebook users in the UK is the over 40s. hablib.com’s market is essentially for the over 30s. Homeowners, landlords, re-developers and new build developers. Essentially what will make hablib.com a success is if the over 30s and over 40s embrace social networking.”
hablib.com will also be reimbursing the legal fees of the 21st person to sell their home through the website. “We predict this will happen in the summer of 2010,” Kreil says.
Every hablib.com user automatically qualifies for these competitions when they register and reach their dashboard.
