When UK property portal luvthecity.com first launched in Manchester late last year, director Julian Bovis admitted “we don’t really have a great commercial strategy as yet”.
But something must be working at the new portal, as Liverpool and Leeds have now been added to the areas luvthecity.com covers.
According to the website, London Docklands is next on the agenda, and Birmingham, Cardiff, Newcastle, Sheffield, Plymouth, Bristol, and Bradford will also be covered this year.
A promotional push is another part of luvthecity.com’s plan for 2010: the portal has just announced a competition offering a year’s worth of free rent at a furnished central Manchester apartment.
luvthecity.com only lists properties in central city areas, but includes an apartment block guide with ratings out of 10, and information on city services and nearby pubs.
