The Hitwise rankings for January show no change in the top three US real estate websites. realtor.com remains in the lead, followed by realestate.yahoo.com, with zillow.com in third place.
rent.com, which was in sixth place in October and fifth for the previous two months, is now number four on the list. This bumps ziprealty.com out of its long-held number four spot.
Three more websites moved up in the top 10: trulia.com moved back into sixth place from number seven, homes.com moved from eighth to seventh, and mynewplace.com, a rental apartments portal, moved into 10th place. This comes after mynewplace.com spent two months at number 13 and last month at number 11.
mynewplace.com replaced apartments.com, which moved back to number 11. servicemagic.com also lost its previous spot in the top 10, falling from sixth to eighth place.

Property search engine rentbits.com was one of the Hitwise "fast movers" for the month, climbing 51 places to land at number 75.
29.28 percent of all visits to the "Business and Finance - Real Estate" industry went to the top 10 websites in January. 40.17 percent went to the top 20 websites, and 69.02 percent went to the top 100 websites.
The average visit duration for visits to the "Business and Finance - Real Estate" industry was 10 minutes, 12 seconds. This is a minimal increase from last month's average visit duration of 9 minutes, 48 seconds.
