Businessworld's Promising Entrepreneur Award finalists have been announced, and the founders of in.iproperty.com and clickindia.com are now hoping to take out the prize.
in.iproperty.com is a member of IPGA, which own portals throughout Asia. Founders Murli Ramkrishnan and Smita Thorat are amongst the 30 finalists, who are all under 35 and were chosen from 112 applications.
in.iproperty.com's competitors include Pankaj Agarwal and Sushan Rungta, who founded free-to-list classifieds portal clickindia.com. clickindia.com covers real estate as well as jobs, cars, second hand goods and service providers.
Five winners will be chosen by Businessworld's six-member jury comprising prominent entrepreneurs, investors and other experts.
Classified Ad Ventures is the owner of propertyportalwatch.com, and also owns a stake in IPGA.
