Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC has started airing two TV commercials as part of its spring marketing campaign. The new Coldwell Banker blog, "Blue Matter", also launched last week.
According to rismedia.com, the two commercials are airing on HGTV and cable telecasts of the Olympics on CNBC, USA & MSNBC. As of 1 March, they began airing on original cable programs like “Damages” on FX and “Burn Notice” on USA, as well as on home-related shows like “Sell This House” on A&E and “My First Home” on TLC. The commercials will also run online as part of a digital video buy on Hulu and on the Google Video Network.
In introducing the new blog, Coldwell Banker social media supervisor David Marine writes, "[I]f grey matter speaks to general smarts, then blue matter is that part of the brain that thinks about real estate".
"As odd as it may sound, the 104-year old real estate brand that is Coldwell Banker has entered the blogging realm." Marine explains. "We’re here not to toot our own horns or persuade you to work with one of our local real estate companies (we wouldn’t mind if you did though), but rather to offer some insight, perspective and real estate knowledge to help those pursuing the American dream of home ownership so you can be equipped with the information you need about today’s (and tomorrow’s) real estate environment."
Coldwell Banker CEO Jim Gillespie will be amongst the Blue Matter's contributors. The launch of the blog follows the release of a beta version of Coldwell Banker's website in December, offering a variety of unusual search options.
