iproperty.com.sg, the Singaporean arm of IPGA's iProperty family of portals, is reporting more record figures with a 40 percent increase in the number of agents signing up over the last three months.
According to iproperty.com.sg, this has resulted in a 17 percent increase in listings at the portal, and a 100 percent increase in the number of leads generated for advertisers compared to the same period last year.
"These results didn’t come about casually – all these goals were planned for," says Shaun Di Gregorio, CEO of iProperty Group. "What lies ahead is truly exciting and we have big plans for the coming six months."
Those plans will now be driven by new Singapore country manager Glenn Thompson, whose most recent role was as commercial strategy director at Fairfax Media.
Commenting on his appointment, Thompson said he is determined to deliver "a clear market leader" in iproperty.com.sg.
Along with Thompson, IPGA has just signed up Andrew Kelk to work as its chief information officer.
Kelk is currently a member of the senior leadership team at the REA Group, and was recently made responsible for the delivery of customer products for realestate.com.au. Prior to that, Kelk was employed as REA Group's lead software developer.
Thompson and Kelk join two more new hires at IPGA since the start of the year: former Webjet employee Rod Brandenburg came on board as IPGA chief financial officer in April, while Shaun Di Gregorio, who was previously employed as a senior manager at REA Group, became CEO of the company in January.
Disclosure: Classified Ad Ventures, the owner of propertyportalwatch.com, also owns a stake in iProperty Group parent company IPGA.
