Australia's realestateview.com.au has just announced a deal to add its content to Telstra's Trading Post and BigPond websites.
At the start of this week, realestateview.com.au became part of the BigPond network, with the industry-owned portal's content embedded in BigPond's property section.
“With our recent launch in NSW and acquisition of myhome.com.au, this deal represents another value add for what is already seen as the most useful and user friendly site for real estate agents and consumers searching for property around Australia,” says Petra Sprekos, realestateview.com.au's general manager.
The second component to the partnership is the integration of Trading Post’s content within realestateview.com.au. This includes a new "furnish" section on the portal, which displays Trading Post's listings.
“In the longer term the partnership will also see Trading Post 'share' listings added to the realestateview.com.au site," Sprekos explains. "Visitors to realestateview.com.au can currently choose the option to buy, rent, sell or move. This partnership will mean that consumers will be able to now also search for share accommodation."
Before forming this partnership, realestateview.com.au launched an online and outdoor advertising campaign aimed at growing site visitation by 15 percent over the next few months.
