After running a national TV ad campaign in August that reportedly boosted visitors by 23 percent, UK portal zoopla.co.uk is planning another TV blitz for January.
zoopla.co.uk says the multi-channel TV campaign will include prime time slots across ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and the Sky digital channels and will be part of a larger multi-million pound campaign covering a variety of other media. A sample ad can be viewed here.
"We are looking to re-invest very heavily over the coming months to ensure that we are maximising the enquiries and exposure that we provide to our members," says zoopla.co.uk CEO Alex Chesterman. "We now deliver tens of thousand of leads daily to our member agents across the UK and we will continue to invest whatever it takes to build Zoopla into a household name."
Meanwhile, The Digital Property Group portal findaproperty.com, which was featured in a multimedia campaign during September, is focusing in on renters with a new radio ad. findaproperty.com says the ad will air for the next week and a half on radio stations all over the country. The ad can be accessed here.
Finally, UK market leader rightmove.co.uk is benefitting from a Christmas TV ad campaign for Apple's iPad. The ad features rightmove.co.uk's iPad app, and marks the second time Apple have chosen to use this app in their marketing.
"The rightmove.co.uk iPad app has proven an excellent addition to our range of mobile products," says Miles Shipside, the portal's director. "For Apple to use it to promote the iPad device is huge compliment. The iPad will be top of many people’s Christmas lists this year and that’s great news for our member agents as it increases the reach of their properties even further as more people download the rightmove.co.uk iPad app."
