The Adecco Group is a major shareholder in Beeple, a start-up that developed an end-to-end online staffing tool focused on high volume and high frequency recruitment in retail, hospitality and events.
Beeple is a tool which enables recruiters to digitise their current processes and integrate with middle office and back office systems, increasing efficiency and effectiveness particularly in sectors where temporary staff are used in high volumes.
The company says its technology reduces the administrative burden in all aspects of planning and operating large scale and short-term events.
Candidates are allowed access to a self-service online platform where they can notify their availability and view their work schedules, and where contracts and working hours are registered and processed.
In Q2 2017, Beeple intends to continue its rollout into Italy, France, the UK and Luxembourg.
“Our investment in Beeple enhances our performance in high volume temporary staffing by removing friction in the process. Clients, candidates, associates and colleagues are demanding solutions that give a better user experience and reduce administrative tasks, enabling more focus on the higher end of the staffing and recruitment value chain. This presents opportunities to transform our service offering for current customers and gain new clients by enhancing user experience and reducing delivery time and cost to serve,” said Marcus Sawyerr, Global Head of Digital & Innovation at The Adecco Group.
Karel Rabaut, Manager and Founder of Beeple, continued: “We very strongly believe in the synergy between The Adecco Group as a global market leader and a young start-up such as ourselves. The Adecco Group’s corporate culture and vision regarding our collaboration very much appealed to us from the first moment and this is why we are very enthusiastic about the future of our partnership.”
Beeple won the title Starter of the Year 2016, March 17th, during the “Night of the SME” at the Hilton Hotel in Antwerp, Belgium.
