As the Russian property buyer gets increasingly more serious in purchasing vacation or retirement homes abroad, so grow the international property shows featuring attractive building developments or vacation complexes ready to be swooped up by these buyers.
Moscow-based aiGroup, is hosting three such shows in October and November. The first one being the 11th Moscow International Investment Show on the 12th and 13th of October, with 189 confirmed participants covering more than 30 destinations.
To be followed by the St Petersburg International Property Show on the 26th and 27th of October, and finally the third event, again in Moscow on the 16th and 17th of November 2012, with 196 confirmed participants from 37 countries.
“When many other organisers around the world have seen their events shrink in size, here in St Petersburg and Moscow we are actually turning exhibitors away from our shows, as we just do not have any more space to sell,” said Kim Waddoup, CEO at aiGroup.
The recent new visa agreement which came into effect on September 9th, allowing Russian and American travelers for business or tourism to receive visas valid for multiple entries during a period of 36 months, is believed to have helped exhibitions like the above mentioned International Property Show, attract more international exhibitors.
