AlmaMapper, one of India’s largest alumni networks, has recently acquired iTeknika, giving them the technology and talent to push further into the world of recruitment and assessment. The deal was said to be based on both cash and shares, but the specifics on amounts have yet to be revealed.
This isn’t AlmaMapper’s first move. They recently purchased VibrantMinds, another company in a similar sector. iTeknika brings with them a wealth of history and technology, including a library of questions used to suss out the talents of applicants.
AlmaMapper’s past work will now be added to iTeknika’s, giving them more of an edge. Their goals are to work with schools and universities, hiring for technology jobs with recent graduates and helping current students hone their craft before leaving school.
AlmaMapper plans to expand to a staff of 300 people, hoping to allow clients a glimpse into the entire timeline of the recruitment process. The company’s expansions will continue, as they will continue to contact and interact with other businesses in the field.
