ATA and MicroBank partner to encourage self-employment and entrepreneurship

MicroBank has signed an agreement with the National Federation of Associations of Autonomous Workers (ATA) to facilitate the financing of business projects through microcredits.

This alliance has been signed between the director of MicroBank, Ana María Díez, and the president of the National Federation of Associations of Autonomous Workers (ATA), Lorenzo Amor.

The financial institution has explained that this alliance establishes a financing line of 1 million euros to boost self-employment and encourage entrepreneurial activity, favoring equal opportunities between men and women, new residents, people with disabilities and with special attention to vulnerable groups.

In addition, the creation or expansion of microenterprises, self-employed businesses, and self-employment projects will be financed with the objective of contributing to the development of the productive fabric and social progress.

MicroBank has detailed that the beneficiaries will be self-employed professionals and microenterprises that have less than ten workers and an annual turnover of less than two million euros.

Those interested can opt for microcredits for a maximum amount of up to 25,000 euros and their projects will have to have a business plan and the favorable viability report prepared by the Federation.

With this agreement, the National Federation of Associations of Autonomous Workers will detect financing needs with the objective of promoting self-employment and the establishment, consolidation or expansion of micro-enterprises and self-employed businesses and directing natural or legal persons advised by the entity to MicroBank for it to analyze and approve funding requests.

The criteria for the granting of microcredits by MicroBank fundamentally address the trust in the person or team requesting the loan and the viability of the project, with people lacking guarantees and guarantees.

The National Federation of Associations of Autonomous Workers is an organization that integrates the associations of autonomous, sectoral and intersectoral and aims to represent, promote and defend the common professional, economic and business interests of the self-employed.
