Battery Venture, a global investment major is looking towards PageUp as it’s next significant investment. PageUp is a startup focused on developing cloud-focused enterprise talent management software. Battery Venture has yet to disclose the exact financials.
Part of the deal puts Battery’s General partner Chelsea Stoner and Vice President Paul Morrissey as part of PageUp’s board. Product research, development, and innovation focuses will be funded. UBS and Credit Suisse were the financial advisors for the transaction.
This investment also brings about the collaboration between Accel-KKR and PageUp – the two having worked together back in 2002.
Offering HR-Tech solutions on a Software-as-a-Service model, PageUp was founded back in 1997 by Simon and Karen Cariss. PageUp is currently international, with its presence spanned across several markets, including the US, Asia, and Europe.
PageUp’s software is implemented by over 8 million users operating out of 190 countries and available in 18 different languages. The software covers manufacturing, business and financial services, higher education, mining, and retail. Non-profit organizations and governmental agencies are also featured.
Michigan State University, Medical University of South Carolina, and Reserve Bank of Australia are just some of the top-tier customers under PageUp’s belt.
