Jobeum, a blockchain recruitment platform has partnered with ShoCard, a blockchain mobile-identity platform with the goal to deliver a complete digital reputation solution for Jobeum’s users.
Jobeum is a regionalized network for business professionals. The platform uses blockchain to keep documents on employment, education, completed projects, and more and the records within profiles are cross-validated by the community. The platform plans to join partnerships with universities and other companies so that certificates and employment records for people can be stored on the blockchain. Users will then be able to sort which portions of their profiles are public and which are kept private.
ShoCard is a California-based mobile application provider for definitive authentication that also protects users’ privacy. This allows for a variety of use cases, like a true-digital signature with non-perishable audit trail, frictionless login services without username or password, repeat authentication, and transaction authorization to prevent fraud.
Together, the two companies’ goal is to give Jobeum users a digital reputation solution, with an additional layer of security with ShoCard’s approach to identity management.
“As they stand now, building digital reputations without confirmed, authenticated identity is an act of trust, said Vitaly Obernikhin, co-founder and CEO of Jobeum.” “We’re excited to partner with ShoCard to bring professional networks into the future, where identity is confirmed, validated and secure, rather than blindly trusted.”
The founder and CEO of ShoCard, Armin Abrahimi said that it’s always been a challenge to prove your identity, especially within professional networks on the internet. Their solution will address this challenge and bring another layer of authentication to Jobeum’s network.
“With both of our solutions based on blockchain technology, it was simple to identify a way for ShoCard’s identity management capabilities to fit into Jobeum’s offerings,” said Ebrahimi.
