Denmark’s home sellers are now able to easily touch base with potential buyers, thanks to Boliga‘s new in-a-box real estate sales for home sellers with no period-based subscription.<
Thanks to Boliga, the country’s largest property portal, home sellers can easily create the estate description on the site, set a price and upload pictures, and actively select add-ons such as: legal representation, online gathering of estate-information, condition reports, estate-photos and other aspects of the estate sales process, keeping it all gathered at one place.
Boligas CEO Tim Jensen expects great demand on this type of service, which has seen seen daylight hence a demand from Boligas users. “We have been flooded with inquiries due to the tendency of doing independent home sales. Most of the relevant information is already available online. Some may be a little reluctant to take the matter into their own hands, thus our decision to create an in-the-box solution ensuring a cheap, easy and foremost safe estate sale for home sellers and buyers, so they won’t have to worry about legal infringements in the process,” said Jensen.
For a long time there has been a tradition for self-driven sales of condominiums, but also apartments and houses, though this has been more limited. The Danish Association of Chartered Estate Agents has estimated, that agents represents 90% of total sales in Denmark, Boliga wants to create a platform for the last 10%.
“Future estate-sales will be online, and its goal is to gather all who want to take the process into their own hands; today a lot of these are referred to post their house on various smaller websites. We at Boliga believe they will be better exposed with us,” concluded Jensen.
The price will be DKK 500 (US$100) per month to sell one’s home on Boliga.dk, with no subscription obligations for the user. The homes will be shown in the accumulated search results on Boliga like all the other content.
Boliga has an estimated 2 million visits per month, according to Google Analytics.
