Recently Cars.com announced their brand new Social Sales Drive, a new offer that let’s car retailers to better utilize their Cars.com used vehicle listings within Facebook’s Marketplace. Social Sales Drive uses Cars.com’s social media prowess to give retailers stronger advertising, utilizing their data while focusing on the consumers who look up listings on Facebook Marketplace. Cars.com will use new artificial intelligence technology to run a chatbot to converse with customers in off-hour times through Facebook Messenger. This is currently being tested and in test cases, 50% of customers on Facebook Marketplace desired to have interaction after normal business hours.
