E-commerce platform Carvana has launched in Los Angeles, its largest market to date and its first on the West Coast.
Now L.A. metro-area residents are able to browse through 7,000+ vehicles on Carvana.com, finance, purchase and even trade in a used car without ever stepping into a car dealership.
The process can take as little as 10 minutes, and Carvana promises to deliver the vehicle as soon as the next day.
All cars have to pass a rigorous 150-point inspection, and they’ve never been in a reported accident, and don’t have frame damage. All features, imperfections and updated information about open safety recalls are listed on the vehicle description page. And buyers can return the car within seven days of purchase and receive a full refund.
And if they’re willing to fly across the country, buyers can retrieve their new vehicles from one of Carvana’s six car vending machines. The company will provide a $200 airfare stipend to fly to Austin, Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Raleigh or San Antonio to insert a token into a slot to pick up their new car and drive it home.
Launched in 2012, the Phoenix company has delivered vehicles to customers in 48 states and offers free, as-soon-as-next-day delivery in 37 markets.
