The New Year brings resolutions of new diets, relationships and new jobs, among others, consequently the start of a calendar year, especially the months of January and February are some of the busiest months in recruitment.
Anticipating the ‘avalanche’, UK jobs portal, CV-Library has started a massive outdoor marketing campaign, tapping into candidates looking for their next exciting job opportunity.
The campaign will target active job hunters as they work, shop and play, by investing in roadside, rail, gyms and coffee-shop placards. These adverts will be located in specific cities across the UK, including London, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Bristol, Sheffield, Cardiff and Exeter.
Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV-Library said, “One of our core focuses as a business is to help our clients find the best candidates and we truly believe that our advertising efforts help us to achieve this.”
In addition to the outdoor marketing campaign, CV-Library intends on returning to the airways as well, with a high impact radio advert running between January and March 2018, and reaching an estimated 21 million listeners during popular breakfast and drive time shows, playing on some of the UK’s leading stations.
“Our radio campaigns have been hugely successfully in the past and it’s important that we learn from what has worked previously in order to continue delivering the results that we do. We’re always exploring new ways to reach out to candidates and 2018 will be no different,” Biggins concluded.
