Former Kaymu executive Arnaud Devigne (pictured left) has recently joined jobs search engine Indeed France as managing director effective this spring.
Devigne, who is currently based in both Paris and Dublin spent two years managing classifieds at Africa Internet Group including Kaymu, a Nigerian-based online marketplace for new and used goods (including real estate) with a presence in 30 countries including Africa, Asia and Europe.
Earlier he headed marketing operations at French professional networks Viadeo, Google France and Google Southern Europe, and also Pages Jaunes, France’s Yellow Pages.
He also founded RED PLANET, a consulting firm which assists C-level executives from large international companies in their digital transformation.
Devigne holds a masters degree in Telecommunications and internet management from Université Paris Dauphine and a MBA from the University of Ottawa.
ExclusiveRH reports the appointment of Devigme signals Indeed’s far-reaching plans for the French market.
Having just opened a new office near the Champs Elysees the recruitment company is targeting recruiters in the French market through an advertising campaign to raise brand awareness.
Until recently, the French operations were managed out of Indeed’s European headquarters in Dublin, but the site wants to double the size of its team in France by the end of the year and has already hired 20 people.
