Fair, a used car buying service, has launched a new app for finding and purchasing used cars from your phone or tablet.
Since launch, over 300 cars have been sold through the app, which Fair claims is putting it on the path to success.
The Fair app slims down the car buying process, with searching, financing, and even signing the lease for the car available in the app.
Over 1300 vehicles are listed on the app, and they can all be purchased through the app and immediately picked up from the dealership afterward. So far, the app features cars in San Diego, San Francisco, and other Southern California areas.
“Car ownership has changed, extremely,” said Andrew Arizmendi, Fair’s account manager. “Once you sign, you can go pick up that car from the dealership. We were hoping to do a deal a day and we’ve ramped up. They’ve just been eating it up.”
Fair believes this will be the new wave of car buying. “Millennials are more used to the month-to-month payment,” said Anna Moggaddam of Fair’s marketing team, “and they’re more used to their digital phones. The older crowd has to get used to making a transaction from their phone.”
