The nominees for the 14th annual Webby Awards have now been announced, with a few familiar faces in the real estate category.
This year’s nominees are trulia.com, zillow.com, nytimes.com/realestate, hotpads.com, and nakedapartments.com.
trulia.com was the Webby Award winner for 2009, while hotpads.com took out the People’s Voice award. nytimes.com/realestate was nominated last year along with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and Riverfront Park.
Each nominee for this year’s awards has had something to celebrate over the past few months. trulia.com and zillow.com both launched a rentals search, while hotpads.com debuted its application for Android phones. nytimes.com/realestate was recently revamped, and nakedapartments.com was just featured in mashable.com’s Spark of Genuis series.
Winners of this year’s awards will be celebrated at a ceremony in New York on 14 June. A panel of judges will choose the Webby Award winner, while online voting will determine the winner of the People’s Voice award.
