Goodwills in North Georgia will be hosting a series of job fairs where each nonprofit 13 career centers will host a multi-employer job fair and events will take place in addition to each center’s regular workshops and job offerings.
“We know that many people start off the new year with aspirations to improve their lives,” said vice president of marketing, Elaine Armstrong. “We’re here to help anyone who wants to find a job, a better job, or even learn new skills.”
Goodwill has started the year, for at least five years in a row, with stimulating the job market across North Georgia. Goodwill is considered one of the largest multi-employer, multi-location jobs fairs of the year. The organizers expect 1,000 to 2,000 job seekers to attend the fair.
At least 100 employers will be attending and actively hiring and recruiting at the fair, including companies like Cobb County School District, Georgia Department of Public Safety, and Lowes.
Goodwill highly encourages locals to pre-register online for the fairs.
