Himarker is the latest job platform hitting the esports industry, and it's already blown past its crowdfunding goal in a span of 48 hours.
Launched in 2017 by Philip Huggan in Newcastle, Hitmarker allows companies to post esports jobs, giving candidates the chance to sign up and apply for them. To date, more than 425,000 have used the platform in excess of 1.2m times to advertise or search for jobs.
The platform, which has more than 32,000 registered users, launched a pitch on Crowdcube for £80,000.
"I can truthfully say we didn't expect to hit the target nearly this quickly – we had a 30 day content plan prepared following the raise expecting it to need a fair bit of promotion," said Cameron Brierley, content lead.
