The Australian challenger portal Homely.com.au has this morning announced that it has introduced a new feature that it’s calling the ‘Sold Hub’. The feature is somewhat similar to Zillow’s sold feature and lets users see recently sold properties in the area of their choice as well as agent ratings given by consumers. Each sold property listing contains plenty of information including council tax rates, nearby schools, links to Homely’s user community discussions as well as agent reviews. Commenting on the new feature, Homely Co-Founder Adam Spencer said:
“with the Sold Hub we’ve prominently positioned Agent Ratings and ‘Contact agent’ buttons, so consumers can identify top local agents and quickly get in touch with those who’ve had successful sales outcomes for comparable properties to theirs for an appraisal”.
Homely has also launched a redesign of the site. The redesign is not only skin deep as apart from the clean and fresh new layout, it also appears that the SEO department has got involved and optimized the site structure and internal linking.
