One of Myanmar’s leading property portals, ShweProperty, has closed nearly 70 transactions during its recent affordable housing expo – the biggest in Myanmar, according to the portal.
The company has focused its sales and marketing efforts on serious home buyers using its vast database which was established over the last 6 years. With a carefully targeted effort, Shwe has been able to offer services that were traditionally offered by the big brands like REMAX and Century 21 who have targeted different types of demographics for decades.
“This is the largest Affordable Housing Expo Myanmar has seen,” says Kevin Goos, managing director of ShweProperty.com. “With over 150 projects presented to more than 3,400 visitors, we achieved more than 67 property-related transactions, with 11 development projects selling out during the three day event”.
The amount of preparation for an event of this size is considerable says Goos.
“It’s really important to prepare not only the developer, but also to prepare buyers with all the related information to purchase the property.
We have a hugely systemized onboarding process for developer clients and a large marketing division helping buyers with the types of properties and best deals prior to the event”
“Right now our leadership team is doing extremely well with creative marketing and sales techniques. Our database is solid, meaningful and grows at phenomenal rate. Our clients are also choosing to work with us to develop and build the real estate market together, which is very encouraging” says Justin Sway, CEO of ShweProperty.com.
The Shweproperty.com team is comprised of 42 local and international staff and media consultants who maximize their reach through both offline and online marketing; their online platform has developed a real-time database of property seekers. The group, including JobNet.com.mm (Myanmar’s leading Job site) have in total 109 full time staff. Both companies were founded by Justin Sway, who is the Chairman and CEO.
