Finding and keeping skilled people is a top concern and priority for business executives, as the U.S. unemployment rate hit a 50-year record low in September.

iCIMS, Inc., the market leader for cloud-based recruiting solutions, will be joining IT and human resources leaders at two upcoming Gartner conferences to share best practices and emerging trends shaping successful enterprise businesses as they grow.

Al Smith, Chief Technology Officer at iCIMS, will lead a roundtable discussion at the Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo, which brings together more than 9,000 CIOs and senior IT leaders to examine the industry’s most critical trends and build and execute world-class IT strategies. Smith will dive into the critical challenges that companies are facing in hiring technical talent and provide advice for mitigating this deficit before it negatively impacts the business. His insight is backed by new research from the iCIMS platform, which analyzed more than 25 million technology applicants over the last three years from its database of clients that collectively post 3 million jobs and hire 4 million people each year.

Gartner’s annual conference for CHROs and senior HR leaders will cover emerging trends that are changing the future of work and best practices for building an HR action plan where people and talent strategies are delivering greater business impact.

Attendees can explore how leading organizations market to, engage and hire the best talent, quicker, at the following sessions:

  • How Work Gets Done: Progressive Practices to Build into Your HR Action Plan: Susan Vitale, chief marketing officer at iCIMS, will join Tomya Watt, VP of talent acquisition and diversity & inclusion at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), as she shares the transformation of a traditional recruiting operation into a data-driven business partnership central to MSK’s innovation and growth strategy. Employing nearly 18,000 employees for life-saving jobs, attendees will explore MSK’s journey of adapting consumer technology, including text messaging, to create quick-moving recruiting processes that capture the interest of a diverse workforce.
  • Digital Strategies that are Transforming Recruitment: In today’s competitive job market, emerging digital strategies and technologies are changing the fabric of talent acquisition for candidates and employers. Gain practical insight for the modern CHRO on how to protect current HR technology investments and deliver greater business impact, while fundamentally transforming recruitment, from Adam Feigenbaum, chief customer officer at iCIMS.
