US-based job portal giant Indeed.com has just released the results of its survey on companies that offer the best and worst job security.
The survey looked at 1,000 of its users who are looking for a job. Indeed discovered that more than 40% said job security was one of the most important factors candidates take into account. Most important, according to respondents, was compensation followed by health benefits and job location. Job security came in fourth.
“That shows the power of security for people who are not only unemployed, but seeking to make a career change,” Paul Wolfe, Indeed’s SVP and head of human resources told Forbes.
When compiling its list of the companies offering the best job security, Indeed selected companies in its database that have amassed at least 100 job security reviews from employees who work there, rating their firms on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest.
Below is the list of the 20 companies that scored the best.
