“For the past one year, we have been conducting meetings to engage dealers to move towards digitilisation across the country,” said Nalin Kapoor, COO, new cars, at CarDekho to The Economic Times.
According to him, 15% of the portal’s revenues from dealership solutions come from CRM tools, LMS, dealers website development, SEM/SEO (search engine marketing) and other customer-service systems.
“We expect major revenue flow from it in the future,” said Kapoor. Vikram Alva, head of the used-car section at CarTrade.com, said, “Digitalisation is one of the main pillars which can help us deliver such services to them (dealers). We have a field force of over 300 that help dealers in digitalising their businesses.”
