InfoCasas, a leading property portal operator in Latin America, has announced an alliance with Santander, the leading private bank in Uruguay, to provide more facilities to property buyers.
After nearly two years of working together on innovating real estate products, the partnership has strengthened, with a Santander home loan website developed by Infocasas, resulting in a solution allowing bank clients to view properties in the market combined with a consultation for their mortgage loan.
The website is a unique offering in Uruguay, applying Infocasas technology combined with an amazing user experience. The platform compiles all the listings available for sale by developers (which could be buy either to live or invest) with complete information, along with different options to access mortgage loans. Alongside its key functionalities includes a search engine for distinguishing income, a unique tool in the market that shows results according to the income of the user.
The strategic alliance between InfoCasas and Santander has already shown strong results, with the development of a credit simulator within the listings on the InfoCasas website last year. Santander was also the main sponsor of an event held by InfoCasas, which successfully drove sales and increased the bond of mutual trust between the companies.
There has been tremendous positive response from Santander’s marketing and mortgage managers, who commented: “During this year of strategic work with InfoCasas we are achieving record growth in the mortgage loan product. Betting on digital technology ratifies our commitment to developing state-of-the-art solutions and opportunities for our customers. “
This strategic alliance has allowed Infocasas to continually innovate in technology applied to the real estate market, strengthening its market leader position in the region.
InfoCasas’ CEO Ricardo Frechou added: “the most significant aspect of this alliance is that it represents a great opportunity for both of us to develop the digital mortgage market.”
