Portuguese market leader casa.sapo.pt has launched an offering it says will give users a new perspective on its property search: an iPad application.
casa.sapo.pt says the iPad application offers users better navigation and search capabilities along with a new map-controlled search engine. The portal is also highlighting the potential benefits to real estate agents in terms of property search and presentations.
casa.sapo.pt employed Portuguese real estate IT specialists Janela Digital to create their iPad offering. This video show the application in action.
This isn’t the first time casa.sapo.pt has jumped on new technologies – the portal released its augmented reality mobile application in October last year.
casa.sapo.pt’s adoption of the iPad comes just week after zillow.com and ziprealty.com released their offerings. According to recent reports, Apple has sold around 450,000 iPads so far, which is a bigger number than expected.
