Walt Disney once said that all our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. Owning a home is a dream that everybody has, and it certainly is an expensive dream to pursue.
In an effort to help make this dream a reality, the country’s No.1 property website that attracts more than 1.6 million unique visitors monthly, iProperty.com Malaysia, today launched the Happily Ever After Home campaign. The campaign is set to give one lucky individual the opportunity to walk away with RM 10,000 to kick start their dream.
Speaking at the launch of the campaign, iProperty Group’s Chief Marketing Officer, Becky Leng said, the rising house prices and stringent bank regulations in the country has made owning a home an impossible dream for some.
“As the country’s leading property website, we make finding a home easy and via this campaign we are now making it easy for Malaysia to own one. We hope that with the RM10,000 offered as a cash prize, the winner of the Happily Ever After contest can use it to either pay their monthly loan repayments or even use it for down payment for a new home. So, if you are in search for that dream home and need a little help to get started, join our campaign. Who knows, you could just be that lucky winner to walk away with RM10,000. After all, happy endings are not just meant for fairytales,” added Leng.
Elaborating on the campaign, Leng said that the contest mechanics were easy. Those who are interested to participate are required to log on Facebook to submit their details and answer a simple question. To increase their chances of winning, participants can choose to recreate their very own fairytale story. They will be able to choose from four stories, Hensem & Gatal, Rafunzel, Red Riding in da Hood and Jack & the Kacang Panjang.
“In the story of Rapunzel for example, the character is portrayed to be an independent woman that is tired of the attention she was getting from men. She couldn’t wait to leave and was determined to find a high-rise condominium with security, that she pursued her dream. Needless to say, she finds what she is looking for and lives happily ever after,” added Leng.
She added, “As you can see we have rehashed the popular fairytale stories and put a modern twist into them. Participants will have an interesting time recreating their own version of either one of these fairytale stories. We are certainly excited to see the entries that come in.”
The Happily Ever After Home campaign is open to all Malaysians above the age of 18. Entries must be submitted no later than 12am on 21st June 2013 and winners will be shortlisted based on the number of likes they obtain. 20 contestants with the most likes will be then be selected before a winning entry is chosen, which will be based on creativity of the story they create.
“It truly is a simple and easy contest to enter and with RM10,000 up for grabs, we encourage you to participate. Express your creativity and let us know how you find your dream home. After all, we helped Rapunzel find her pent-house condominium that is perfect for her to ‘let down her hair’. Jack too got a place with a garden and spends his free time tending to his bean stalks. Good ol’ Hansel & Gretel also found a sweet little place to call home,” elaborated Leng.
Aside from giving away RM10,000 in cash, iProperty.com Malaysia is also giving away 10 Apple TV’s. For further information on the contest mechanics, log on to iProperty.com Malaysia.
