In November, Kyero added Catalan and Polish, to the languages they already support. Now, the Spanish property portal has added Japanese as well, bringing the total number of languages supported to 16. The company has promised another 20 languages are yet to come.
Japanese is spoken by about 125 million people – primarily in Japan. It has no relation to Chinese, but uses many Chinese characters, and a large portion of its vocabulary is shared with Chinese.
Kyero stated on its blog, that due to the fact that, all translations are currently being made automatically by computer and their quality is sometimes not as perfect as they would like it to be, once they have all 36 languages completed – which is their goal – they plan on having a second pass, and use professional human translators to clean up and improve the translation quality of all the languages they will support.
Kyero is now available in 16 languages. Their next language to tackle is Hindi.
UPDATE: Since the above article was first posted on Property Portal Watch, Kyero has added Hindi and Greek to its list of languages Kyero supports. Talk about going at the “speed of light”… good on ya Kyero.
