USA Startup Knock guarantees homeowners that it can sell their home in less than six weeks or the business will buy it for market price.
Co-founder and COO Jamie Glenn says Knock guarantees homebuyers that its homes are rock solid with a 200-point home-inspection, certification and extended warranty.
“Knock uses data science to price homes accurately, technology to sell them online quickly and a dedicated team of professionals to guide you every step of the way,” he says.
The New York-based business boasts a founding team with strong proptech and internet business credentials.
Glenn, who was VP Product at Trulia, most recently led Uversity, a predictive analytics EdTech company acquired by TargetX and held executive roles at leading recruiting platform for the social web Jobvite and Yahoo! Real Estate.
Meanwhile CEO Sean Black was a founding member of Trulia and led teams and initiatives to transition $13B in offline real estate marketing and was Founder/CEO of Crunched, a sales analytics company acquired by ClearSlide.
Lead engineer Karan Sakhuja was a co-founder and/or lead engineer at various startups, most recently homeASAP and SportsYapper.
Founded in 2015, Knock aims to offer a radical new way to sell a home quickly without risk and uncertainty.

Whether you accept an offer from a buyer the site sources or take its guaranteed price, the team takes care of all of the details, including arranging escrow and closing.
“If Knock buys your home and then sells it at a higher price within 30 days, we give you 100 per cent of the difference less our standard fees. If we lose money on the sale, you keep 100 per cent of what we paid you.”
