The life sciences-based consultancy, LifeSci Partners, has recently announced the launch of their new global recruitment service called LifeSci Search. The platform will focus exclusively on the branches of biotechnology, pharmaceutical and healthcare, and made with the intention of amending the “broad deficiencies in the life sciences recruitment market largely centered around the specialization required for life sciences clients”. Locations worldwide in New York, Boston, California, Chicago, London, Geneva and Tel-Aviv are sure to accomplish the success of an intimate network with great recruitment capabilities.
LifeSci Search will be led by managing directors Matt Toner and Andy Cronin, both of whom have extensive global executive search expertise within the life sciences. This expert knowledge, paired with a global candidate network, provides a resourceful service with the capability to build entire executive teams for LifeSci Search clients. Additionally, LifeSci Search will leverage LifeSci’s Board Placement Initiative, which helps companies in the life sciences industry diversify and strengthen their company boards.
“LifeSci Search will utilize LifeSci’s unmatched domain expertise, deep client relationships, and ‘client as partner’ approach to fulfill the recruitment needs of our clients,” said Andrew McDonald, Ph.D., founding partner at LifeSci Partners. “We recognize that recruiting talent is one of the most important activities of an emerging life science company and we are proud to make a contribution. We are excited to have Matt and Andy lead the LifeSci Search team to provide strategic candidate identification, seamless process management, a vast life science network and valuable data analytics of the recruitment process and overall market.”
Matt Toner brings nearly a decade of recruitment experience to LifeSci Search, having worked with a broad client base ranging from venture capital groups seeking C-Suite candidates to emerging biotechnology companies experiencing rapid growth. Andy Cronin has over six years executive recruitment experience and has built teams within hedge funds, trading groups and tier-one investment banks.
Matt Toner said, “Andy and I are thrilled to join the LifeSci Search team to address the unmet need in the life sciences recruitment space. The resources, experience and relationships at LifeSci provide a unique and unmatched foundation for life sciences recruiting. We look forward to working within the entire LifeSci platform to ensure the highest level of service, eliminating the challenges of recruitment for clients.”
