US website listingbook.com has received an award for its implementation of salesforce.com’s customer relationship management (CRM) system – an example of “cloud computing”, which involves the use of online applications for business.
listingbook.com is an MLS-wide online service that connects agents and their clients through an integrated platform of client management, sales productivity and direct marketing tools.
According to rismedia.com, listingbook.com was one of seven winners recognised for cloud computing use at the Appy Awards at Dreamforce ’09, salesforce.com’s user and developer conference.
“[W]e have used salesforce.com to transform all of our business operations,” said listingbook.com’s vice president of customer facing operations, Emily Kranz. “Not only have we improved how we communicate with and service our customers, we are generating more revenue with salesforce.com. We are honoured to be Appy Award recipients, and look forward to moving even more of our business operations into the cloud.”
listingbook.com recently announced it had over 100,000 agents subscribed to its service. The website held on to its number 19 spot in the November Hitwise rankings of US real estate websites.
