The announcement is a part of the Kuala Lumpur-headquartered startup’s transition into the next phase of market expansion, it said in a press note.

Keek Wen Khai, Co-Founder and CEO of, said:

“Our rebranding as — with our tagline 'Live Smart. Live Easy' — more clearly defines our company’s identity and wider target market."

The startup was launched in 2015 as an online marketplace for property owners and potential tenants to match, with a mission to tackle long-term room rental issues among students and property owners.

In 2018, it pivoted direction to focus on value-added co-living by offering spaces to rent for middle-class students and working professionals across Southeast Asia.

After the pivot, the company has grown to thousands of rooms across many districts in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, the company claims.
