Ride-share app Lyft has marked its biggest expansion in one day with 54 new locations going live in the US.
Customers in Iowa, Florida, Georgia, and Wisconsin can now use Lyft’s services.
The launch coincides with Lyft’s push deeper into the Midwest, East and Southern states in an effort to take market share away from rival Uber.
Lyft’s ultimate goal for 2017 is to add 100 new cities by the end of the year. As of Thursday, Lyft is now available in nearly 300 U.S. cities.
