A new editorial marketplace, Ureed, has just launched in the Middle East, allowing both businesses and freelance users to connect and create new careers.
Users can find jobs for copywriting, blogging, legal writing, translation, and more. There is no registration, no fees, and Arabic, English, and French are all supported languages on the platform.
On the business end, companies can set their own budget and pay structure and advertise the job as thus. The business can use a standard free service to list the jobs, or they can opt for the Pro version, which gives the business a dedicated manager that does the hiring process for them.
“This is a really exciting time for Ureed as we launch into the Middle East. There is a huge pool of talented freelance professionals available but often businesses are opting for the traditional hiring model due to the lack of choice and infrastructure. We see this as a new chapter for both businesses and the freelance workforce, as Ureed will allow people to hire quality talent, regardless of the size and complexity of the project,” said Nour Al Hassan, Ureed founder and CEO.
For now, Ureed is only available in the Middle East, but they plan on expanding across the world.
