German online classifieds company Scout24 has further expanded its position as a leading network of online marketplaces for vehicles, real estate and classified ads in Switzerland, according to new figures.
Swiss auditing company NET-Metrix-Audit, has released a report which indicates the German classifieds company, which owns property portal Immoscout24, cars portal Autoscout24 and classifieds site anibis.ch had an average of 28 million visits per month, or 336 million visits per year in Switzerland during 2016. This is an increase year of more than 17 percent from 2015.
ImmoScout24, which is Germany’s leading digital real estate market, has increased its number of visitors in Switzerland by more than 33 percent to just under 9 million in 2016, making it an important driver in the ongoing digitisation of the real estate sector.
Olivier Rihs, CEO of Scout24 in Switzerland, said part of the company’s success was its ability to adapt to ever-changing environments.
“Those who want to survive the digital market must be flexible and offer innovative and comfortable products in a high cadence,” Rihs said. “In the future, companies which consistently focus their efforts on the customer will be successful.
