Recently Internet entrepreneur Silvina Moschini unveiled SheWorks! – the first and the only online platform that leverages TransparentBusiness Cloud technology, matching algorithms and remote workforce management tools to connect professional women with flexible remote job opportunities.
Because the traditional commute-to-work model tends to be inflexible, over 40% of American women opt to leave their jobs once they become mothers. SheWorks! aims to assist them in finding a work-from-home job with more flexiblity.
SheWorks! also makes it possible for companies to easily hire vetted professional women from anywhere in the world and reduces gender inequality in earning power. SheWorks! hopes to help reduce unemployment and empower women to grow professionally.
Silvina Moschini, founder and CEO of SheWorks! stated that $17 Trillion dollars is lost worldwide due to women leaving their jobs for lack of flexible, transparent and viable options. “The market needs innovative solutions to transform the world of work, and that’s exactly what we’ve created. By 2020, 50% of the workforce will be contingent. By bringing stay-at-home women into the national workforce, SheWorks! not only helps to solve a business challenge but a major socio-economic issue as well. There is an undeniable butterfly effect that is born when women work: children and families are directly benefited, economies grow faster and countries prosper,” Moschino concluded.
During the pre-launch stage, SheWorks! secured a number of high-profile clients, including Univision, Criteo, MasterCard and forged partnerships with multilateral organizations such as the InterAmerican Development Bank and MIF (Multilateral Investment Fund), NGOs including Vital Voices Argentina and Miami, Fortune 500 companies including Cisco Systems and Microsoft among others.
SheWorks!’ network includes professional women in Creative and STEM industries such as UX|UI, graphic and multimedia designers, digital marketing specialists, web and mobile developers, software engineers, machine learning and data science experts.
The SheWorks! Advisory Board includes Laura Chinchilla, (President Costa Rica 2010-2014), Monique Morrow, former Cisco Systems CTO, Monica Talan former EVP of Communications Univision and Jorge Titinger, former CEO of Silicon Graphics.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Silvina Moschino held the position of vice president of corporate communications at Visa International, where she was in charge of developing the public relations strategy aimed at further positioning Visa as one of the most globally valued brands.
