Love2move is a Tinder-style property app, which launched at the beginning of 2017, that allows property buyers to quickly curate a shortlist of houses they’re interested in.
Recently the platform has received more attention, as a number of High Street agencies have signed on to use the app.
PPW spoke with Mark Worrall, a director at Love2Move, to find out more.
Can you tell PPW readers about Love2Move?
Love2move is an online platform for high street estate agents. We have built a brand that can work alongside agent’s existing brand and help them appeal to a new generation of house seller that is demanding an online service. Love2move works with established agents to allow them to compete with the emerging online agents and our platform puts buyers and sellers in direct contact through our website.
How it similar to Tinder and how has this worked in its favour?
The love2move website is fully mobile responsive and when accessed on mobile devices allows house buyers to use the ‘Tinder’ style of swipe and select to tell us if they love a property or not. Once a buyer loves a property it goes onto his/her shortlist and from there the buyer can choose to find out more information, chat to seller or arrange a viewing.
What are some of the key advantages of your app?
Our site appeals to house sellers and buyers because it is unlike any similar site in branding; it is very vibrant and the style of animation is different to most other agents’ branding. In addition to branding, the functionality of the site allows buyers direct contact with sellers and this appeals to everyone in today’s world where instant results are not only expected but demanded.
Booking viewings, asking questions and negotiating offers can all take place 24/7 from anywhere in the world, so our clients are not relying on their estate agents office to be open to move forward with selling or buying their property.
Recently six more agencies have signed onto your platform. What is it that’s bringing them to your app?
It is very easy to join the love2move network and start using our platform, we have a small set up fee, but no ongoing monthly charges. Love2move offers our partner agents a low-risk opportunity to compete with online agents on a level playing field. In addition to low entry costs we only want to work with one high street agent in each area so as areas are going quickly, demand for new areas is increasing every day.
How does your product differ from competitors?
In regards to competition we don’t have a direct competitor, or at least not one that I am aware of. There are other companies who offer similar products, but none that offer our agents the low risk entry into the huge growing market of online house sales that love2move does.
