The European job market has been eating up Peakon, an employee engagement platform.
The startup has introduced companies like BMW and Maersk to a data-driven way of understanding and managing their workforce.
Peakon’s SaaS tool analyses employee feedback and churns out actionable insights on everything from retention to performance.
The London and Copenhagen-based company will now expand globally following a $22 million Series B round led by Balderton Capital.
“As the saying goes, you put your people first, product second – and then profits will come,” says Kasper Hulthin, a cofounder of Peakon.
“But if you look at how companies invest, it’s exactly the opposite.”
