Property Network announced it will open a new office in Leeds to accommodate for new staff additions, employed due to unprecedented demand for its service. Founded by Sohail Rashid nearly three years ago, Property Network, is expected to employ over fifty people by the end of this year.
Property Network has set itself to compete against Rightmove and Zoopla by being the only social network for home movers and property professionals. It will use social incites from Facebook to source the most appropriate home for a user’s work and lifestyle.
Despite the recession, Rashid has raised considerable funds to expand Property Network and Youseph Hedar, ex-Chief Officer of Green Flag, was brought in to assist with the growth of operations and to help deliver this exciting concept.
Youseph Hedar said, “In 2010 we only had one employee and for us to have come this far this quickly is evidence of what a great idea Property Network is. Moving into our new offices will mean we have a great environment for this exciting and innovative company to develop.”
After recently securing a seven figure investment Property Network has secured a long term lease on the old offices of Dacre Son & Hartley, one of Yorkshire’s oldest standing Estate Agents.
Property Network supports over 7,000 estate agents across the UK who are now able to profile their 700,000 properties across social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
