Real estate agents and real estate portal uploading services have once again started exporting their ‘for sale’ and ‘for rental’ listings to the fast growing PropertyNow real estate website. Better known as a private sale assistance website, PropertyNow has for many years hosted the sale and rental listings of thousands of real estate agencies Australia wide.
Because of sustained growth and growing pains the real estate portal was forced to temporarily suspend its agents listings while it sought a superior hosting platform to accommodate the ever increasing number of agent properties. The PropertyNow website aggregates a number of other portals feeds as well as taking the property listings of a good many manual real estate agent uploads.
Currently PropertyNow is receiving listings from the following sources:
PortPlus, MyDesktop, AgentPoint, Inhabit, MutiArray, Rex Software, RealOz, OSL, LJHooker.
It has also maintained the ability for both real estate agents as well as private sellers to upload their own listings manually. This is a solution for smaller companies and individuals who can’t afford the expense of paying monthly upload costs. The reactivation of agent feeds in the last week of May 2013 has meant that PropertyNow had exceeded its previous listings record and at the time of writing was displaying over twenty three thousand Australian real estate listings which were a combination of real estate agent and for sale by owner listings.
The move to Amazon hosting has proven an outstanding success for the innovative real estate website and has further cemented its place among the better quality Australian property listing websites. In coming months the portal will be contacting the major real estate franchises to setup feeds so that the property listings remain high both quantitatively and qualitatively. Andrew Blachut, the Licensee of the portal (which is also a real estate agency in its own right) commented that “we won’t be satisfied until we list all the major real estate franchise groups as well as a broad cross section of Australia’s private sales listings.”
He added, “we need to apply care and quality to growth, especially when listing for sale by owner properties. There is a tendency for many fsbo properties to become out of date and inaccurate. We need to avoid falling into the trap of listing properties that are no longer for sale or whose status is not as its reported. Buyers who are searching are rightfully very unforgiving of such practices, so we will be maintaining very high standards.” Mr Blachut explained. The PropertyNow real estate website has been displaying property for sale over the past decade and services real estate agent and for sale by owner properties equally.
