The “German PropTech Initiative” (GPTI), a networking and discussion group aiming to link and promote PropTech startups by creating an intellectual hub spot for the scene, held its first meeting in Berlin this month.
Chairman elect Alexander Ubach-Utermöhl who is managing partner of of Black Print Partners GmbH says the association intends to increase the awareness of digital business models in the real estate industry through a combination of networking and media attention.
“In addition to regular events and a strong media focus GPTI will use social networks to promote discussion and thought leadership.
The platform will organize regular meetings in Berlin using a GPTI meetup.com.
According to startupvalley.news Alexander Ubach-Utermöhl says the industry needs a nationwide exchange between PropTech companies and a more visible presence in the media.
The report says the outlook of GPTI-co founders Carl-Friedrich von Stechow and Nicolas Jacobi is similar.
“In particular, a young industry needs a lively discourse in order develop,” they argue.
Other GPTI founding members include Building Radar Managing Director Paul Indinger, Immomio CEO Nicolas Jacobi, Leverton CEO Dr Emilio Matthaei, Allthings CEO Stefan Zanetti and Zinsland co founder Carl-Friedrich v. Stechow .
