Rakuten Lifull Stay announces new vacation rental marketplace

Rakuten Lifull Stay Inc., the vacation rental brainchild of Rakuten Inc. and Lifull Co. Ltd., has recently launched WillStyleStay, a rental marketplace for single-family detached houses in Japan.

The project is being offered in collaboration with real estate consultant HyAs & Co.

Tokyo-based HyAs, which was founded in 2005, provides consultancy for property construction and development. It also provides sales promotion support.

Rakuten Lifull Stay, co-owned by Rakuten Inc. and Lifull Co. Ltd. since it was founded in 2017, operates two rental marketplaces: VacationStay and MonthlyHomes.

Rakuten Inc. is a tech company that offers electronic commerce solutions in Japan and internationally. The company operates in three segments such as internet services, finance services, and others.

LIFULL Co., Ltd. is considered the most extensive housing and real estate information listing service. LIFULL Co., Ltd. provides LIFULL Move that provides reviews and rankings of the moving companies; LIFULL Storage, a storage space searching Web service; LIFULL Interior, a furniture and interior decoration EC site; and LIFULL Nursing Care, a special care facility searching Web service.
