REA Group has appointed an experienced marketing and advertising executive, Kieren Cooney, to the newly-created role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

“We are excited by what Kieren can offer the business with his world-class experience. He will drive our global marketing strategy,” said Ms Fellows.
Commenting on what attracted him to the role, Mr Cooney said: “The opportunity to be part of a business with a clear ambition to help people navigate some of the biggest decisions of their lives was very appealing.
“However it was my interactions with the REA team, who are as welcoming as they are impressive, that really sealed the deal for me,” said Mr Cooney.
As part of the creation of the CMO role, Elizabeth Minogue Executive General Manager, Media will now also focus on the growth of REA’s Media and News/Lifestyle content experience from a global perspective.
