Live chat service Yomdel, used by estate agents across the UK, has announced a number of key appointments as the company prepares for expansion.
Martin Hess – the former VP for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) – has been appointed as the company’s new chairman and will develop its business strategy. Previously, Hess was responsible for the growth of HPE’s $2.2 billion Enterprise Services Business in the UK and Ireland.
Yomdel was launched in 2014 offers real estate agents a live chat service to attract and retain customers, working with hundreds of estate and letting agent across the UK. Last month the company was nominated for a prestigious tech award: the annual The Negotiator Awards.
The startup has also appointed Tim Thrower, the founder and Managing Director of OCSL, a leading provider of hosted and cloud services, as an adviser. Thrower has worked closely with major vendors including HPE, Microsoft & other industry players.
Hess said he looked forward to watching the company grow.
