Acquires UpNest

Move, Inc., the operator of—the second most-visited portal in the US—has acquired UpNest. UpNest operates a marketplace that connects home sellers with highly qualified local agents who compete for their business. already connects home sellers with agents who can help them through their ‘ReadyConnect Concierge’ referral network. The UpNest acquisition will let further expand its services.

Consumers who use UpNest to submit leads receive proposals from up to five agents within 12 hours, at which point the seller can choose which agent to continue with.

The terms of the acquisition have not been released.
