Back in July of this year REALTOR.com rolled out a beta version of its homepage, now the company has officially rolled out an overall new look and feel for its website, but the company claims it’s not just a redesign, it’s a foundation for moving forward.
The company says that by enhancing the site’s core design, they have the flexibility to continue with the evolution of search functions, while expanding on the relationship between consumer and platform, hence, the older version of the REALTOR website has not been discarded, instead a new generation of customised user experience has evolved.
The company claims that its website has been given more than just a fresh coat of paint: “We’ve given REALTOR.com a brand new design, but it’s not all about changing colors and fonts. The site has been optimized with you in mind, to help maximize your time and offer you a cleaner, more engaging experience when searching for your next home.”
Site navigation is easier than ever.
With the updated REALTOR.com design features, first-time visitors will be greeted with a cleaner, more welcoming landing page that is designed to simplify and speed up the search process.
The site has also been enhanced for return visitors, who will have their own personal homepage that remembers their last search and offers market summaries, newly listed properties, and open houses tailored around their previous searches.
Enhanced, improved, and always evolving.
Standing alongside our award-winning REALTOR.com® Mobile Real Estate App for Android, iPad, iPhone and Windows Phone 7 devices, the redesign now offers a more engaging experience for mobile users.
An enhanced map view function is now browser-flexible, while email has been improved for mobile platforms. And as the technology continues so will the implementation of new features on REALTOR.com’s mobile and web platforms.
